The purpose of the Arizona Drag Boat Association (ADBA) is to sanction and present drag boat races for participation of its membership, primarily within the state of Arizona. Members in good standing from other drag boat racing organizations may also be allowed to participate.
Generally, drag boat racing is a sport that has been in existence for over 50 years. A drag boat race is a timed acceleration contest between two boats, over a measured distance. Safety in pursuit of these activities is of primary importance to the ADBA.
Arizona Drag Boat Association (ADBA) is home some of the fastest boats on the west coast! Racing the liquid quarter mile throughout Arizona at speeds of up to 200 MPH+!
